The Bavarian is a ski-up restaurant at the base of the Kachina ski lift in Taos Ski Valley. This was a partial renovation and expansion of the dining area, and addition of an exterior bar. The interior had formerly been part of the kitchen so our first task was to repair the log walls, which had been cut into, to accommodate electrical and water. From there we moved on to paneling, benches, bar and trim, all to match the existing restaurant, which was modeled on the Alpine resorts of Europe.
